The arranged day's birding with Sue was curtailed by a quickly arranged hospital app for Sue. Nothing serious was exposed by the scan.... It was so dark and dimpsy early afternoon that we just drove to Winterton. A shortish seawatch was rewarded by a single Red-necked Grebe, 1 Red-throated Diver, 5 Scoters and a Shag.
