Aileen and Bridget left to-day. A text late morning informed us that there were helicopter problems, involving a boat trip to Tresco, a chopper from there and a nearly three hour late arrival at Penzance. We just lazed about the flat, Pam doing laundry, me computing - it's Jim's birthday and we were worried that his card would not have arrived due to the postal strike. I sent him an animated one and he received both.
A short walk to Portcressa in the afternoon where we spent a happy hour or more just looking and then, photographing small birds at the Little Porth end.
The tide was well out.......
My little Ixus tries it's best.... to photograph two ofthe birds so typical of Scilly.
