Ladybird Invasion

Walcott Post Office was shut. Our first Turnstone for a couple of months, no sign of the Med Gulls reported by Bob. What a sad sight.
Hundreds of thousands of Ladybirds, mostly 7 Spots, lay in great swathes along the sea wall, squashed on the pavement and in the roadside verges. I've never experienced this before.
