We couldn't decide what to do on an overcast and very misty morning, with a north wind blowing still.
A late morning visit to Horsey Gap car park and north towards the camp site brought very little apart from a pair of Stonechats, Willow Warblers and a trickle of Swallows hurtling northwards through the dunes. In Happisburgh a message re Ring Ouzel at the paddocks in Winterton sent us on a return journey. To no avail, no sign of one in any of the paddocks we scrutinised.
