In the middle of cooking for to-morrow's coffee morning - here - a Norfolk Wildlife Email alerted me to an infestation of Black Pollen Beetles in south Norfolk to-day. Some plants in our garden were full of them, mainly Asters and Peonies. They're minute, the adults only 1.5 - 2.5 mm long, the larvae are bigger, one shown here.
