The planned outing to Buckenham Marshes was aborted as soon as we drove up the road and met thick fog. After a tip from James, we drove to Walcott, found a convenient field entrance and saw a small flock of dark-bellied Brent Geese behind the gulls. Amongst them were at least 12 handsome Pale-bellied hrota sub sp.
