A helluva day........Starting with dentist and hygienist, two N and N visits (wrong letter, wrong time), John Lewis, Sainsbury's, second Lucentis injection in my left eye at 4.45, dash home, put moth trap out, dash to Yarmouth by 7, wait for Ian to arrive home from work. He cautiously checked his shower room, yes, the bird was still alive. A Leach's Petrel found on a rig module on which Ian's foreman was working. Beautiful, magical, velvety little tubenose. After photographs, the bird was wrapped in a towel and we all nine trooped off to North Denes beach. These pics are Pam's, my camera refused to focus!!

A certain Norfolk tick - at last

Dot went back for the car so we rode part of the way there and all the way back. With great reverence, Ian's cupped hands opened and the bird scudded away across the dunes. Bon Voyage. I hope it survived but we could do no more.
