Short seawatch and a beetle

Saturday August 29
Still rather breezy but less than yesterday. Walcott is not an ideal sea watching spot, the birds are distant but, it's nearby.
In 30 minutes we saw a dozen Gannets, two definite Manx Shearwaters and a single Sandwich Tern. Hence the short visit!
Overnight moth trap catch was good. Almost the best catch were 3 Banded Sexton Beetles, perpetual motion until we released them.
